A little while ago, for some reason that I've now forgotten*, I decided to read through that wank that happened in my LJ back in 2008 when leda-speaks and I said a few less than kind things about a certain (PASSIONATE!) curly-haired actor with overly obsessive fans. I am comfortable enough with my feminist self that I have finally reached the point where I can read it without getting upset over being accused of misogyny (WHAT), but I still hold never-ending grudges against the fandom enemies I made in that dust-up. Fuck them.
*I remembered halfway through this; I saw someone post in a comm on my flist whose name looked familiar, and I had to check that it wasn't one of the wankers. And then I got sucked in and read through the whole thread. Yes it is 3 AM. Yes I should be sleeping.
Anyway, the good part of it is within that whole thing I found a comment with a plot bunny for a Jo/Amita fic I never wrote, so I'm going to try my hand at that tomorrow.
P.S. Secret message to magisterequitum: I finally watched the first few episodes of The West Wing today! I'm digging it so far. :-) No Ainsley yet though! ETA: Wait, she's only in 12 episodes?? In the entire series? :-/ Heartbreaking.
