(no subject)
Okay, so I'm finally watching Numb3rs 5x23 "Angels and Devils", because that is actually the episode I stopped watching at, not 6x01. I'm about 4 and a half minutes in and I can't believe the show made it look like they killed Amita!!! idk how long it takes to find out she survived, but omg I'm so glad I didn't watch this live, haha. Poor heartbroken Charlie...
ETA: another two minutes in: What I find interesting is Charlie's reaction here compared to his behavior in Uncertainty Principle. Based on that episode, we might expect him to draw inward, become obsessive, and retreat into the math that will break the case. But here he is almost too distracted by worry to even think about math. I guess this is indicative of the transformation Charlie has undergone over the course of the series, including having the kind of emotional/relationship capacity to be with Amita in the first place... Hm hm hm.
ETA2: OH, the ending, ahahaha. First off, Nikki calling David "mini-Don?" HILARIOUS. And then Liz saying she always thought Ian had his eye on Colby, aaaaahahaha NO SHIT, LIZ. And Colby BLUSHING.
What an awesome episode, I don't know why I stopped watching this show.
