I was kind of surprised that they got James Marsters on the show and then barely involved him in the episode, BUT on the other hand, they had motherfucking Ray Wise doing his thing in James' absence, so that was awesome.

I thought it was noteworthy that the episode was written by a woman and directed by a woman. That seems unusual, but IDK, I don't really keep track.
