I am trying desperately to convince mercilynn to watch Arrested Development, and she is BREAKING MY HEART with her resistance. Plus she ADMITTED that she's only resisting it to HURT ME. :-( :-( :-( This show won six Emmy awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series! How can you not give that a chance?

Do you know how long it took me to start watching ER? YEARS and YEARS of my parents going "you'll really like it. I promise. It's GREAT." And then Jared Padalecki was on it... *winks* No I started watching before I even knew Jared Padalecki existed.

HOWEVER. I didn't say I'm resisting ONLY to hurt you, just that it was the MAIN reason... There are others! *cough*TIME*cough*

Actually, what I KNOW is that it did not take very long to get you to watch SPN, which as you'll recall I TALKED YOU INTO AND THEN YOU LOVED IT OKAY SO OBVIOUSLY I REC GOOD SHOWS TO YOU THAT YOU ENJOY.

And! It is only a half-hour show! So it's not as much of a commitment as some shows! And it's SO rewarding, because, OMG, the quotes and jokes and and and it is AMAZING, okay.

JARED PADALECKI LOVES ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. HE WOULD BE SO HAPPY IF YOU WATCHED IT.

A half hour show? Hon I don't even have time to register for my CLASS, much less catch up on old episodes of a new show. *makes mental note to make sure to register tomorrow*

PLUS. You can verify this with the EOL, I have about EIGHT other shows to watch first.

AND. JUST BECAUSE JARED PADALECKI LOVES IT, IS NOT A REAOSN TO WATCH IT. HE WOULDN'T CARE IF I WATCHED IT!!!! And until I get a personal phone call from him, or videotape of him and Jensen making out, I'm not watching it. *g*
