Someone, we're - [Her voice is cut off by something that sounds almost electrical, the sound of pure energy, pure power, charging. She can almost be heard gritting her teeth and casting a barrier, but the roar of laughter that echoes all but drowns it all out.]
Naoto, you have to go back - go and -
[Once more, she's cute off, this time by a bolt

Of course, he's not responsible for the barrier; Ketara is, who has an intense look of concentration on her face. Even as the first barrier goes up, she's starting to work on another, while Rion reaches to his side and drops a Pokeball.
The creature that comes out now is short; about two feet tall, and looks a bit like a somewhat feminine humanoid, other than it being yellow and black, made of steel, and with two giant fuckoff horns forming jaws coming out of its head. It's a Mawile. However, though, he doesn't appear to have had enough time to give it commands; he's getting the guitar unslung, off his back and into his hands. No commands without the guitar... hopefully Ketara can buy him enough time, or the barrier(s) can stay up long enough for Ketara to unleash an attack.]

Rion, you -
[But she simply has not the energy, has had it sapped from her by that crackling magic forming around one of Ganondorf's fists as he advances towards the boy and his charming little pets. Zelda slumps again, trying to reach for Naoto's form, trying to sum up some of her own magic, but it seems there's no more to come...]
Rion!
[Her voice is too quiet and too light, and the man only chuckles. A blast of energy is shot in the direction of Rion and his pokemon, the action languid, even lazy, as if it's not worth his time.]

Dancing. Zelda or Naoto might be wondering what the hell he is commanding his Pokemon to do, because let's be honest, its dancing doesn't seem to be helping anything, even if a... brighter anger seems to be burning in the Mawile's eyes. Hopefully both of them have enough faith in the trainer to trust in what he's doing.
He can see the energy coming through, and much of it is deflected harmlessly away by the barrier, but some of it's coming in. Another quick guitar chord, and before it can strike either the trainer or his guardian Gardevoir, Chou... dances in the way. She clearly doesn't appreciate the blast, wincing and letting out a cry, but doesn't stop.
Rion's logic is, quite literally, 'Ghost isn't very effective against Steel'. Hopefully his universe's logic carries over.
However, Ganondorf's lazy, weak attack is giving Ketara time to charge up one of her own, a ball of inky, dark blackness beginning to form between her hands as -- well, if looks could kill, Ganondorf would be dead. Er. She's a very expressive Pokemon; it's no wonder that Rion seems to anthropomorphize her more than his others.]

Zelda struggles to pull herself up, for she knows that look all too well, but she merely crumples again, a groan of pain escaping her throat as she falls back. The magic she manages is brief and largely ineffectual, but it does manage to draw him off path, reminding him of his original quarry.]
There is no barrier which can hold me back. Surely all would know that?
[The words are almost friendly, like a joke shared amongst friends, as the glowing blade in his hand is drawn back to strike at the conjured wall.]

If he could talk, he would point out that really he doesn't need that much time; his grandstanding has given Ketara enough time to charge up, and Chou enough time to get her rage really built up via a Swords Dance.
He can do none of these things.
But why would he? Actions speak louder than words anyway. A nod at Ketara, and that inky-black-and-purple ball of darkness starts arcing towards Ganondorf, swerving and moving in somewhat unpredictable directions, though it's still headed in his direction. Chou, for her part, is scampering towards him as fast as her tiny legs can take her - if Ketara's Shadow Ball hits, she's going to lunge.
There may or may not be a catch with that lunge, depending on if it hits, and if so, how messed up he is from it.]

Just as Ganondorf raises the sword to cleave the barrier, that grin splitting his face, speaking of madness, the blood running black over his face and making him look even more grotesque, nightmarish. The attack couldn't be better timed, to Rion's credit, the darkness hitting and hitting hard, knocking him back, knocking the sword from his hand, knocking him off his feet. He's not one to be kept down by much, but it is a few moments before he pulls himself up, the smile gone, replaced by anger, burning and venomous.
There is more magic, burning along his fists as he approaches again, at a run now - but the other beast is in his path.]

The only good thing is that Ganondorf is going to need to leap over or go around Chou in order to strike at Zelda, Ketara, Naoto, or Rion, and unfortunately, she intends to make that somewhat difficult. With the young trainer playing a few chords, Chou opens up her jaws, and lunges at Ganondorf - any part will do, to be perfectly honest. Those jaws are powerful, and even moreso when she's had time to Swords Dance before striking.
For now, Ketara's just going to reset the barriers, to make sure that if he's going to get through them he's going to have to put forth more effort. It leaves Chou exposed, yes, but what other option is there?]

...which appears to have been cut through in places by those huge teeth, holes ripped into it and torn like paper. Seeping through his fingers, there is more blood still, and his breathing comes as a loud rasp when he pulls himself up to his feet again, now heedless of the barriers, of the princess lying like a broken doll in the dirt. There is no hint of the languid deadliness from before, the smile or the chuckle, now there is only anger, writ clear upon his face as he takes a step, another, and, with his hand yet pressed to his armour, keeps coming.]

...They seem to be alive, at least there's that.]
That's what Ganondorf looks like, huh? Well, sorry, but I'll wait for the real thing.
[And with a small flex of power, she opens a portal, pulling all present, the strange monster creatures included, along with her back to the Sanctuary, thinking only, you'd better be okay.]

The young man glances over at Chou, who is now staggering to her feet after having been teleported; she's definitely not 100%, but she's taken harder hits than that before (generally things that were fire-based). With Chou being... well, decent, and Ketara being fine, he rushes over to Zelda, just sort of sitting there.
No, she hasn't taught him enough for him to be able to do anything, so he'll just sort of look at her worriedly, then up at Midna, like 'of course you're supposed to do something, right!'.]

...Stay with them. You can do that, right? We need to find a healer.
