Fandom Ramblings.
Dear Bleach,
Your sixth season sucks. The opening song was mildly annoying, the first ending song was all right (though the lyrics leave me scratching my head), but the second ending song makes me want to ram dildos through my eardrums. Do you even listen to these things before you slap an animation to them? The song animations promised me nifty stuff about Orihime being seduced to the dark side by Aizen, but so far all I've seen is a lot of her whining about how Ichigo is so close to Rukia and then more of her whining about how she's useless in battle. Don't even get me started on the filler. At least in the Bount filler arc they kept up a continuous plot throughout. If I see one more episode about Rangiku helping little kids, Hitsugaya playing soccer, Ikkaku doing kendo for Asano's sister, Kon helping reunite a girl with her lost dog spirit, or bloody Yumichika baking a motherfucking cake, I'm going to scream. I might have to scream "BANKAI", just to remind you what you're supposed to be about.
FFS guys. Come on.
On the upside, I watched your second OAV today, and it reminded me just what a freaking sweet anime you once were, and could be again! Please remember your roots. This show is about pretty boys swordfighting each other and slicing up creepy monsters now and then.
