(no subject)
So i haven't updated in ages, but things here are good, who else is loving the living in your own house deal? its so much fun and its no nice to be able to do what you want and not have to abide by hall rules.
We had a bit of an incident where caroles bike was stolen (during the day whilst we were all home!) on only the second day she was here which was a tad scary, but in all fairness she didnt lock it to anything and so it would have been easy to carry away. Apart from that things are great, we have had soo many vistors in the house that i dont think we have ever been home when its just the three of us, the girls bf's have been up as well as all the guys from last year, and even some ppl who live nearby who just decide to crash and so its just been busy busy busy.
Also, in other news today i won and Ipod shuffle! woo woo! I'm not really sure what to do with it as i already have an Mp3 player which was a present and is nicer and holds more songs etc, but its nice to have actually won something as i don't think i have ever won anything in my whole life. I won it from NTL advertised in the uni's free magazine 'Label' and got an email telling me to pick up my prize today, but i kinda just thought it would be crappy free entry tickets to the union or something as it said entries for the competition were valid until next thursday, bit of a scam i think but hey im not complaining!
Anyway my timetable is looking a bit crappy - i only have five hours, which everyone thinks is great but im soooo bored, so if anyone wants to come up to sunny Loughborough to keep me company you are all more than welcome! I have even been looking for a job im that poor and bored.
Even though im having a good time and meeting lots of new fun people im missing everyone at home a lot, we all had some good times over the summer and i'm looking forward to xmas so we can all catch up and go out etc
