Life really stacks up:
assignments, work, obligations, bills.
I stretch these things too thin:
sleep, friends, parties, music.
I'm very excited for break, I have a lot of final projects I need to do, need to start...I will get them done though, I always do.
Here's what I'd like to do over break:
-Work on music. Camp Keep the Quiet as well as recording projects with Jon and anyone from October Country. I have a lot of ideas running around my mind that aren't quite right for cktq but would work very well paired with acoustic guitars.
-Spend some time in Lunenburg with the family and friends. I've been doing so much rushing back and forth that I haven't had the time to really spend time with these people. It's about time.
-Finish the compilation. I'm still collecting submissions and hopefully I will get them all in before break is finished.
-Go on a few dates, nothing serious but all the same I want to have some semblance of a love life.
-Play a show...We have nothing scheduled yet, but maybe soon?
-Take a trip...New York City and New Jersey anyone?
-Start a novel...a new one, I pretty much scrapped the last one.
-Dance..."We are your friends! You'll never be alone again!"
A lot of things indeed but I need to keep busy somehow.
Also, I'm seeing Hot Rod Circuit next Tuesday at the Middle East. It's their farewell tour and I have some sentimental part of me that won't allow me to miss bands last/reunion shows. "Sorry About Tomorrow," though sort of disliked by a lot of their fan base, remains one of my favorite albums, one I own on CD and Vinyl. I don't think I could live with myself if I didn't hear "The Pharmacist" live at least one more time.
