[Regardless, it's a good thing she doesn't see that pathetic voice post. She's too busy in the kitchen whipping up some chicken soup for you, which she'll be bringing in right about now~]

[Clearly Ion hiding a cold from Anise is like trying to hide the Tartarus behind a tree. He lights up when he sees Anise.] Anise, good morning!

[He starts to sit up, and then punctuates that greeting with a few coughs.] Eheh... how'd you know I was sick?

[She was going to give him a level stare and a smart answer, but then he starts coughing and she's at his bedside in a flash.]

It's not hard to figure out, you know. [A sigh.]

I got you some soup, though!

I'm not very good at hiding it, am I? [Not that he was really trying to keep it a secret, of course. He leans over to get a better look at that soup.]

It looks delicious! [A goofy grin.] You're so good at taking care of me, Anise.

[Ffff. Ion, she can't stay mad at you. But she will try to look exasperated, at least.]

Well, I didn't know it was going to start raining so much on the way back from the library, so I didn't think to bring an umbrella with me when I went out. [See, totally not his fault!] Although I guess it was pretty cloudy when I left...

[Anise is just. She's just going to sigh.]

You gotta take better care of yourself, Ion! Being sick really sucks, you know? [And it worries her to no end, so. 8|]

I'm sorry. I'll be sure to be more careful when going out in uncertain weather from now on! ...er, and probably bring an umbrella with me whenever I'm out, regardless of the weather. Just in case.

That's probably a good idea. Won't do for you to get sick too often! You're lucky I'm around to look after you and stuff.

[He'll be taking a spoonful of that soup now... delicious! A thousand times better than anything Ion could make for himself. Which, with a short laugh, prompts him to answer his own question.] ...heh, I'd probably starve.

Oh, boo. The Colonel's not a bad cook, and he does like you, Ion! He wouldn't try to poison you, so you'd survive~ ♥

And if not, well, Nephry'd make sure you're okay. [She smiles. Still, though, if it were up to her, she'd take the responsibility of looking after him herself all the time. If you want a job done right, after all!]

[Ion smiles right back, drinking up spoonfuls of soup between coughs.] I'm still rather out of sorts, but the soup is helping! I hope I'm well enough to go to school once the weekend is over...

[Classes had only just started, after all! Missing out so early on was just disappointing.]

Boo, if you aren't, you're staying right here at home to rest! [And she'd probably stay home, too.] It's no big deal, anyway. I mean, school isn't too important in this place. It's kind of just something to do.
