[Anise is unaffected over here, thankfully. No one should be privvy to what this thirteen fourteen year old has a tendency to think about. She will, however, take advantage of the experiment for some trolling. Which is exactly what she was doing, when she sees Ion's long and endless marquee of text. She pauses to watch the text scroll on byyy.]

There's nothing wrong with getting a warmer coat, though, Ion! 'Specially since you get sick a lot.

[As with every time so far, Ion still seems a little surprised when his thoughts are suddenly replied to!] That's a good point. Although there's not much I can do for when it starts getting hot out.

{ I'd probably get sick whether it was hot or cold and anything I really should work on getting stronger... }

[She falls into step with Ion, glancing up at the thought bubble now and then. And of course, she'll be answering his thoughts.]

That's right! You'd get sick anyway. But you can take care of yourself so you don't get sick, you know? Like, get some lighter clothes, so you don't feel too warm! It's almost summer already, anyway!

I guess I could find something a little lighter { I'd look so scrawny if I wore something else though the robes hide all that... } if it gets too hot, at least. Otherwise I don't mind just wearing my robes { I may be taller than her now but she's so much stronger than me and it stands out as it is eventually I'm just going to fall behind... } since I've never felt too warm in them before.

[He knew full well what thoughts just went up into that bubble but he was hoping if he talked over it, Anise wouldn't notice! Not that such a strategy had ever worked before.]

[Sadly, Anise is paying close attention to those bubbles, as odd as they are. So she doesn't miss a thing, I'm afraid. She halts, midstep, and has her hands on her hips in true Anise fashion.]

Boooo, you're not gonna fall behind, Ion! There's no way I'd leave you behind in anything; and I'm sure you'd catch up to me real quick! You've always been a lot taller than me, anyway. I just got a bit of a headstart here in Luceti.

... Besides, I think it'd be nice to see you in something other than your robes. [Her cheeks color, a little.]
