[Amidst the arriving new feathers comes a boy who was certainly not new, but had also been recently kidnapped. Back from his first mallynapping, Ion has been unceremoniously dumped on the edge of the river in the north side of the village. [Kyle is patrolling around the village, escorting the new feathers if he notices one. But seeing half dead boy laying near a river, isn't as he expected. He rushes next to Ion and checks whether is he still alive. Have a savior from other Tales series.]

[Ion doesn't respond at first, but he hears her. He takes a breath and tries to will himself to sit up, but that plan is thwarted by the total lack of energy in his limbs. His head lifts a few inches off the ground before falling back with a whimper.
