“But nothing - KISS continues. She made provision: the new chief executive will be Hawk: he’s on his way here already. Kate and Black Michael will carry on, and Leophilus will act as executor and notary. What else is there that needs doing ?”

“Not really,” Tam said: “She knew it was coming - it’s not a new book, just a new chapter. If you like, just think of her waiting patiently next door, watching to see that we do everything the way she would like. And ordering in cream cakes and good tay for later on. Which will be coming.”
