... at a Magna Carta Festival at Odiham in Hampshire. Could have done without the 25 minuets walk from the parking zone we used to the site. Especially when it turned out there were spaces *much* nearer. But ...
The castle (ascribed to King John, but now know to be a later rebuild) is next to ruinous, and could do with a Lot of Love, but there were friends there, and enthusiastic people asking sensible questions, and a hog roast and an ice-cream van.
Now I just need to sleep off the exhaustion.
