A good friend, in England where we have an election coming up (unless they suddenly pass a law that delays "democracy"), has posted on behalf of one of the "minor" parties (the ones who only have a real chance of getting a seat in the Commons if we go over to a Proportional Representation system where they can amalgamate *all* the votes they get) and finishes with the line "if you want to tell me it's impossible, don't bother".

So I shan't.

I'll simply reiterate the old saw that, in England, it doesn't matter *who* you vote for, the Government get in.
