79 - with pages torn out
I've spoken to a few people, and as far as I can tell, there was something strange about the mysterious events that affected me 3 weeks ago. It was the same as everyone else; I was transformed into my younger self. However, I can't remember patches of what happened during those 7 days. What I said. Who I thought I was. Everyone who I remember speaking to seems unable to remember what "that boy" looked like, and the things he...I was asking about.
Their memories and mine have been tampered with by the magic of this island.
...I don't like this.

When I came to as my usual self, I was in the forest, in the middle of the night. Did anyone see "me" go there, or have any clue why? I can't remember that, either.
That aside... I've remembered other things, around when I was ten, and had only one eye and white hair. There aren't any spots in my memory this time. It was about the nomads that I traveled with; I remember that I had to leave them. While I was with them long enough to learn some things about mushi for the first time, I didn't stay with Isaza and the rest long at all. The nomads traveled with the Light Flow, and if someone with the tendency to attract mushi is close to it too much, it could cause something unfortunate. They found a mushishi for me to go with, and I said my goodbyes to Isaza. The nomads were leaving that area at the same time, so he was saying goodbye to a local friend, but due to movements of the Light Flow the night before I left, Isaza had to leave a message with me for the other boy, Taku.
He seemed angry with me when he found out that Isaza had left, so I explained to him that it couldn't be helped. I offered that he may see him again, as long as he had connections to the world of mushi, and given the area he lived in, he'd be connected for the rest of his life there. I made sure to tell him the message, though.
"Isaza told me; 'You guys should leave this place soon, too'"
I left Taku standing there, and went on to learn about the ways of the mushishi from that man.
There's a long break of time between that, and something else... I remember a grinning face. Suguro, another mushishi. I can't remember my connection to him, though.

T-O-E has left. Who else here was friends with him? I would like to continue the work on the monument he erected in honor of those who come here.
((Since Ginko's childhood memories are sealed thanks to his lost item and that darn Tokoyami mushi, he got 3% memories instead of the 5% everyone else got. I spent 2% on the rest of Ginko's memories about being with Isaza and the nomads, and 1% on Suguro's name and face; he's from a yet-to-be-translated chapter of Mushishi that is the last bit of Ginko-centric plot in Mushishi, and I'm saving the rest of that for a long ways down the road. :3
Hey, what DID happen to T-O-E's monument? Can Ginko steal the list from T-O-E's journal archives and keep going at it himself, both OOC and IC...?
FRIENDLY REMINDER FOR PEOPLE WHO TALKED TO YOKI/GINKO: Remember, they can't remember what he looked like, but they CAN remember that they didn't realize he was Ginko, because of how he looked; i.e., they remember that he definitely didn't have white hair and one green eye.))
