Families of Broken Bones

I wrote this song during the summer, when I was bored at work. It only really seems relevant now though.

There is no cure for this disease
'Cause you're impossible to please
There's no need for apologies
'Cause you're impossible to please

Families of broken bones
You've torn your whole life
And look how you've grown
A scattered pile
A skeletal smile
Families of broken bones

Hairline fractures tell the tale
Stress the happiness bleached pale
Shattered hips and knee joints fail
To stop you now from going pale

Families of broken bones
You've torn your whole life
And look how you've grown
A scattered pile
A skeletal smile
Families of broken bones

Sailing away on the sea of broken lives
I can't stop you, you're too quick for my eyes
In your wishbone boat and sail of lies
You're too quick for my honest eyes

Families of broken bones
You've torn your whole life
And look how you've grown
A scattered pile
A skeletal smile
Families of broken bones

Sailing away
Broken pieces in your wake
