Awwwwwww. That was really sweet you know, the part in the anime. Fweeeeeeee.

Nice job, narrating it in someone else's point of view. You kept it open, and that's also a nice thing, because Escaflowne's like that. You know, open. I mean, even though they ended it. =P

On a side note, I don't really think Hitomi would be crying at night.... Or crying. At the end of the series, they made it clear that she was at peace. Otherwise, you did excellently. I love how you portray the escapist in her, her "other" side, how she keeps herself busy. How, at the end of the day, she reminisces and thinks and becomes her normal dreamy self. You paint a beautiful picture of her character. Kudos. And also, thanks for bringing up the tarot thing~~~~~~~<3

I was too afraid to bastardize the characters I dearly love so I tried to define them through an original character's opinions. XD

Hitomi cried not because she was angsting and all that, but she couldn't help but remember the things she missed. XD Those tears were happy and sad. ^___^
