i feel that i've been approaching writing in the wrong manner.
i'll think of little phrases and think "oh, that would sound good as a line", and then once i have enough of these floating around, i'll sit down and force them all to sit down next to each other whether they fit together or 'like each other' or not.
i just feel that the results could be better if i went about it differently.
but i don't think i know another way.
