(no subject)
Okay, today was one of those days that nothing bad happened and one REALLY nice thing happened.
For those of you who haven't been tooning in, I've been doing a mural for one of my friends, Jon. We've been working on the barter system where 1 hour equals one nice lunch. He's currently about 3 lunches behind just because of schedule conflicts. When calling him today to discuss lunch plans, he mentioned that he wanted to know if we could renegociate my contract. Last time I was at his house he was showing me his nifty new computer from Dell. I, at that time, asked him what he was doing with the old one to which he replied "I haven't figured that out" and to which I replied "Let me know. I'd probably be willing to buy it off of you." Back in the present, he tells me that he'll give me the old computer in exchange for my mural work. So after my nice Indian buffet lunch today and Austrian on Thursday, he will no longer owe me lunches and I'll get a "new" computer. The stats are approx. as follows:
