Something I've always wondered:
In Goblet of Fire, when Ron got those hideous dress robes, why didn't someone use magic to fix them up a little? They're in school, so they're allowed. Is turning rags into swag somehow so difficult or so taboo in the wizarding world that nobody even brought the idea up?
