Weekend's end
Well, it's now Sunday, and the weekend will soon be coming to a close. It's been a busy one, that can certainly be said in truth. Friday and Saturday were spent with Ken and Catt. Friday we traveled up to Sterling and crashed into bed, then spent all day Saturday at the Ren Faire. It was definitely a good time, being my first--though one special person was missed. (You know we wished you were there!) :)
The only drawback to the faire was the amount of dust in the air. My allergies have been protesting since midday yesterday, but I'm choosing to ignore them. They'll stop sooner or later.
Today's festivities have yet to begin. We will all be watching LOTR later this afternoon. Bob just called and has warned me that he will be stopping off somewhere before returning home for the viewing. And whatever this detour he is making is going to enhance our enjoyment of the movie--or so he says. I'll probably run out and join him in his travels because I'm curious. I think I have an inkling as to what it may be. Well, I'm off to finish drying Spud--he had his first bath and is none too happy with me at the moment. The poor little drowned rat. His head, which looks large anyway, is now about 8 sizes too big for his body. It's rather entertaining. He looks top-heavy. Poor little guy!
