"The time has come," Akemi said,
"To talk of many things:
Of waking hours--and one small clock--
And why it no longer rings--
Of batteries, both dead and not--
And sleep to which I cling."
"I am so tired," her body cried,
"I went to bed at two!
And did not sleep 'til after that
Not a smart thing to do!"
"Well, duh!" said Akemi's brain.
"Since when has that been new?"
"What we need," Akemi said,
"Is internet and tea:
But failing tea, we'll take the first
And post on LJ, see--
We'll hang out in the library,
And see if a computer's free."
(Now I come to the end of this verse,
And run off to class, before it gets worse.)
