Car Wash
Hello! Today I went to a car wash that my friend Amanda does every year. She is a diabetic, so the funds benefit juvenile diabetes. It was a lot of fun, it was me, Amanda, Joe, Amanda's mom, Ariana, Jeff, Maegan, Aryanna and Kimmy. We raised about $244. Also, I feel good abotu myself because I helped, and it was a selfless thing to do, and it just feels nice to know that I could have helped make someone's life a little bit brighter. We all washed cars and alternated between holding the signs. Whenever I had to hold the sign, I made provacative gestures and skanky movements. It didn't bring in any cars for washing, but it sure did get us a lot of horn honking ;] lmaooo xD yeah anyway I'll put some pictures up later, when Ariana gets them on myspace. Peace outttt<3
P.S. I have a shit load of homework to do, due tomorrow :[
P.S.S. There is also a (sponsored) walkathon thing on October 26 at the Roger Williams park. We're all going to walk about 3 miles. Tons of people go to the walkathon...It also benefits diabetes. The money we raised for the car wash today will go toward that. Hopefully one day they will find a cure, or make a breakthrough. For now all we can do is pray. Oh and by the way...anyone want to donate money and sponsor me? I need to make at least $100 in donations! If you would like to help, message me! :]
