Who has two thumbs and works in electronics? This guy!
Starting the 29th, I will be working the O/N Electronics/Sporting Goods position. I'll be taught how to run a register, and all that fun stuff, too. And not only that... But it comes with a raise! A fourty-cent raise! I jumped two pay scales! ZOMG! And then, on Aug 20th, my 90-day eval Raise will also kick in! Two raises in less than a month! YEY! That'll put me at around $9! I can move out soon!
I find it funny, though, that this comes around the very same night, only a few hours, after discussing moving to the East Coast again with Jamie. Am I destined to stay in Tooele? Who knows... But I do know that I'm not able to tranfer stores until after I've worked there for six monthes. That works out, though, because even if I am able to transfer out that way, I'll need money to do that.Not to mention, mo' money means mo' moniez for Otakon.
And another thing, Shari said it's a big deal that I got the job. She said I would not have gotten it if it wasn't for the job I'm doing in Housewares. Apparently.. I'm damn good. I still don't think so. I don't think I'm fast at all, really, but everyone thinks I am, so I dunno. I just.. do what I do, you know? She's really excited for me, which is nice, and she said she'd miss having me as her department neighbor. My spirits were very, very, very high last night.
Rosalee pulled me aside before the meeting to let me know...I was afraid I had done something wrong. I didn't think about it, but Mom said it was probably because the only time managment wanted to talk to me at McDonald's was to tell me how shitty a job I was apparently doing so.. Yeah. Makes sense.
Oh, and Frank came back and is still working. Actually, he'll be the one taking over my position in Housewares full time. Heh. They must be really pissed at him, then. XD I'm going to make sure I keep tabs on him, though... check on him everynow and then and see if he needs help. Tina, my trainer, did that alot for me, so I should probably do the same. Karma and all... Frank not quitting is GOOD news! Cause Frank's cool and there's not too many cool people on the O/N shift. I mean.. all the nerds are leaving me! Fayth went across the country, and Jason's going back to days... I've got no one to discuss video games or anime with anymore. ;_;

Jamie, if you do come back to XI, let's make it a point to at least TRY role playing this time... Even if it's just us using /tell the whole time. And let's make sure to do some exploring! I really want to go deep into Yhoator Jungle. With the exception of three or four camps, I've never really gone that deep into it. Do what I'm doing... Get BLM to 18, then WHM/BLM, or RDM/BLM (I know you like WHM, but I think RDM might be a little more useful, since you'll have status magic such as Dia or Poison which do help) to 37, then DRG/RDM(/WHM) to 75. We can tottally solo it and not have to party after our subs are leveled. I'll dig up that DRG Solo FAQ for you. Cause I need to research it again some, too, but yeah.
I'm actually getting excited about it! Going back to my roots.. playing the game for the reasons I want to play it.. the way I want to play it. I should have never allowed myself to lose sight of that. I got too concered with leveling and AF and missions.., I just hope I don't let myself fall into that mind set again. o.0
