Blondie

Is beautiful! The journey was good fun, too. Made Jem her mix CD and it seemed to be a hit although she wasn't really in a sing-songy mood. We got to the livery really early and were waiting around for Jem's mum and the people taking a look at Blondie (they loan her out and this girl was offering to loan her for a few days a week)

We brushed her down and gave her cuddles and Jem got her tack and then people were phoned... they took forever to actually get there, apparently they got duff directions :/ So while we were waiting I rode her! I figured it'd maybe be nice to get her moving and stuff, so she was all tacked up and I got on her and walked and trotted her around. It really rattles my brains around, though! Jem says I looked good though and that my leg positions were better than the girl that came!

Anywho, all went well until Jem decided to demonstrate that Blondie liked jumping. She got her working nicely and got her up to speed and just as she was getting to the stage where she was meant to leave the ground her two front feet just went straight down and stopped. And Jemma flew over her neck straight to the ground... on to the top of her head. She got up and rode her again after smacking her a bit, but apparently Blond was looking down at her and 'giggling' at her looking silly for falling off! She was daft for not wearing a hat... and has confirmed my reasoning and made me feel less silly for always making sure I wear a hat *nods*

Edit: She seems to be ok. Her head was a bit sore and she has a bit of a lump going on but otherwise she's ok... I guess she's sort of immune or something after all the damage horses have done to her O.o

Oh, then I met her dogs. Who are mad. Madder than hatters! Chocolate labs, beautiful dogs but so loopy! :3
