Well... it's May. Infact, I'm halfway through May! How did that happen? Seriously dude, this year is moving too fast... I'm not sure if I'm gonna catch it up! It's less than a month until I've finished my course - that's even scarier. I have my final assignment due in on Friday and that's scary enough without the added pressure of my last ever exams! Eeeeeee...
Found out that the weekend after I go home it's a Bank Holiday weekend. How typical of me to not realise that! It just shows how unorganised my brain is right now, it's all scattered :/ I think it's given up now, and I have to keep reminding it that it's only got a few more weeks and THEN it can give up completely and I'll let it and then cry... when I get my results (or lack thereof) back... :x But back to the point, there's also this free concert thing in Notts that weekend! If I've known I'd have organised to go home THAT weekend and that would have made getting to Notts easier/cheaper? Ish? Lol. But I want to go to see Elliot Minor... who no one else seems to really know or care about :/ I can't even remember how or why I heard about them! Grrrrrr... can't go by myself, either... too scary.
I've missed Squishy a lot today. It sounds weird... but I do. I was thinking about the idea of getting a new hamster over the summer like both mum and Cliff have suggested and I don't think I actually could! How dumb is that? It's a small fluffy rodent that just makes a load of noise and smells and... :( I miss her and can't imagine having another hamster as awesome as she was!
Oh and I visited an abbatoir. Of course everyone goes "EEeeeee, death" but it was quite interesting once you got over the smell and the fact that it decided to brighten up just when I wasn't able to sunbathe and therefore I just risked getting sunstroke instead (fortunately I had a light coloured hoody on, so I just looked like an ignorant chav instead, but oh well...). I managed to answer a question cos I was close enough to be able to say it only once or twice and the answer was so obvious it couldn't have been wrong! Bless the people there, it's a family business and they really care about the animal's welfare while it's still alive :) Then we got a blow-by-blow account of what happens to a cow... sheep... and pig when they're brought in. I've discovered that the thing that makes me feel queazy (other than needles) is the anything to do with throats and mouths and... lungs. Apparently. Digestive systems I can deal with it's just throats and stuff. But then I found it amusing that EVERYONE in the group had problems with different parts of the tour, which was intriguing. I'm glad I bothered going... as someone said, it's not as though I'm going to get another chance to go and I'm not gonna organise it myself really, am I? Lol
Anywho... just felt like updating this and rambling a bit. Going home this Friday, getting to see my family types :) Then dancing at this fund-raiser mother's put together. I'm gonna have to bring a rather handsome mop or something by the looks of things! It'll be fun eitherway, I'm looking forward to learning :3
OH! And Skep had a brilliant time watching Pendulum. A hot, sweaty, jumpy, dancy time :3 So that's good, means I can drag him out to do hot sweaty dancy things another time... :P
