Twenty-sixth Feb
Ran 3848 metres today on the treadmill, in 30 minutes. I had a short break but mostly due to feeling silly cos I wasn't wearing the right sort of bra. I'll get to buying one soon... maybe :S
This weekend was cool. I went to father's on the Friday night... got lost and ended up following the Northern Circular. Got beeped at by angry BMW drivers. Managed to work my way back with the aid of my father and googlemaps :D We had indian when I got there and I slept REALLY well by the time I went to bed, lol
Saturday I went with pappy to Waitrose, then later we went to Brent Cross (I think) to the Apple store there to caress the Macbook Air. It's so tiny and gorgeous, but I think it's more of a crush than real love. Today they announced the new Macbook Pros and I'm gonna be getting one of those, me thinks. 15" this time, for portability :) Pappy's said he'll buy me an iPod, too, since that 15" is cheaper than the 17" that he'll be buying my brother, so that's really exciting :D I think I'm settling on Nano... as AWESOME as having a Touch really would be, I think the Nano will be more useful to me for the gym and, to be honest, it's just more portable in general, isn't it? And I don't need LOADS of space to have all the music I know I like with me... so it's all good :) I'm just looking forward to being able to hear things off my laptop speakers! ;)
Sunday I woke up as late as possible... which wasn't very late at all! Had a bath and readied myself for going to see Skep for the evening. Later found out that they'd decided to go out that night without bothering to tell me until about midday that day... :x Was a really good night though, considering that I drove all the way up that evening. Was a bit sad cos I didn't get to see mum before hand, though... we all got a bit drunk. Moved some cones. I'm officially a student and my boring-o-meter has shifted slightly :3
Monday morning I was rudely awakened by Skep's alarm and gave out cuddles until he left for work. I then fell back to sleep until half9 and dragged my arse out of bed to go back to Unihome. I took a detour via Little Pickles to see mum... but she wasn't there! She was on a course :( So I text her to let her know I'd tried to find her and got a phone call apologising... :x The drive wasn't too bad. I was a bit tired and really couldn't be bothered, but I got to Chelmsford in time for my lecture and allowed myself to not do much for the rest of the day...
And today? Well I've been to the gym and I've tidied my room and played with Squish. Cleaned the upstairs bathroom and organised some of my work and written some notes for an assignment :) Nothing too exciting... can't wait for the summer and not having to do any uni work ever again! *touch wood*
