When wishing to pass another vehicle, one does not pass on the right side. One especially does not pass on the right side when the only lane available is one that will shortly merge into the same lane as the slower, but still accelerating, vehicle. And one should not assume that the person going 35 in a 55 about 20 feet from a lighted intersection is doing so just to block you... especially when that person is accelerating. And no, you wouldn't have made the pass successfully if I hadn't sped up. You'd have run out of road. So stop acting so damned outraged that I slowed you down for two seconds by trying to allow a successful pass-through behind me... apparently getting to that red light at the end of the street 7 seconds before me instead of 5 was really fucking important to you.
