Recently, I've been just so amazed by the awesome people on my flist that I felt compelled to post up a summary here of the amazing things you people have been doing recently that have either a) bowled me over with your artistic talent or b) really touched me or made me smile at your personal posts!
I know that not all of you on my flist are friends of each other, I really can't understand why since you are all such awesome people you're sure to enrich each other's lives in some ways.
These are some of the things from you I really enjoyed:
calanthe_fics had an interesting Bookshelf Meme here. I'm sure a lot of you have enjoyed her erotic fanfiction...go peek at her bookshelf.
in_lieyw_of was very ill with the flu and I was worried! I hope you're better dear! SHe also playing the "3 things true, 1 thing flase" meme I started here so go guess at her journal!
charliemc made gorgeous SNOW GLOBES. Now if only she could make a Harry Potter one!
crystal_cow came out of hibernation and played my "3 things true, 1 thing false" meme with a fascinating amount of info about herself. She drew this H/D pic for the winner (not me sadly).
shin_e has been drawing with a vengeance. She drew sketches from Hikaru no Go for crystal_cow and pics from Death Note and her big obsession Prince of Tennis all in the space of 2 weeks! Go shin!
wannabedesigner's dog has had PUPPIES!!! Ooooh! Unfortunately the entry is f-locked if not you can see a pile of really cute puppies here. I actually hugged the screen!
miyoung_boz has outdone herself with this pro HD doujinshi here. It is very NOT WORKSAFE. She's working on a pro entry for Rising Stars of Manga (RSoM) and I'm sure you'll agree with me she IS an RSoM, no question. But my FAVOURITE piece by miyoung is this cereal porn pic of Snap,Crackle and Pop like you've never seen them before. I'm trying to persuade her to draw me Jolly Green Giant pron next!
vimessy had me in stitches with her crack art. I LOVE this Snape doll and am ordering one today!
silverness185 has improved so much in her drawing it made me grin from ear to ear. See her earlier piece here and compare it her latest piece here. Fantastic progress, and a beautiful sketch!
triedandwired played the "3 things true, 1 thing false" meme twice and I won the second one! Her journal is f-locked but if you're her friend head on over and check it out because her life is SO interesting you'll never be able to guess when she's making it up or not!
hayden_clone popped up from out of exile yesterday to report that she has 2 more exams left... Art and Engineering. She has a choice of drawing..."it's either two divers fighting a giant squid or two aliens in a battle with super cool weapons in a spaceship". I directed her to this to encourage her to make it "2 divers doing it with a giant squid".
silentauror is snowed under by work and fic exchanges and popped up briefly yesterday also to let us know she was alive. dadomz is so busy right now I haven't seen much of her. And a warm welcome to two new friends who've appeared and commented amanuensis1 and sirjimmy (who I was convinced was the first slash-lovin boy on my f-list till she told me she was a girl!).
And to the rest of you not mentioned here, I love reading your blogs even though I don't always comment. You've all made me laugh or smile in some way with your incredible personalities and talents. I know I was busy and out of touch recently but things are winding down here for the holidays and I'll be seeing more of you. I leave for a holiday in Kyoto in two weeks but I'll be around till then!
