A day may come when I will stop spamming my flist with school crap.

I am sooooooooo getting straight C's for the rest of the year. I am done with being a conforming overachieving 4.25 no-life glasses-wearing nerdy 20 pound backpack lugging Asian kid. After these college applications go in, I am a free person, and as long as I pass the damn course, I will be happy. Maybe I'll actually learn for once!
And what the hell, man. Since when did I start being mistaken for someone old enough to vote? Okay..fine, so I'm only a year from being 18, but people sound genuinely shocked when I say I'm not old enough to vote, whether it's in person or on the phone. And the annoying 6th graders that I tutor all thought I was in my mid twenties but that's probably because I go into serious!tutor mode.
Freakin elections. Don't get me wrong--I'll vote when I can--but all this campaigning and advertising crap should stop pestering me with phone calls and pamplets at the door on my quiet Saturday afternoon.
What the hell? My mom just brought a whole bunch of junk food back from my aunt's place and a pot of pho (Vietnamese rice noodle soup). o_O Oh well, yummy.
Edit: My mom's been going to adult school to learn more English and has to watch two TV shows for homework. I need something soap opera-y but good, something interesting but not lewd, and something relatively easy to follow--so no crime investigation/sci-fi stuff. Anything fit?
