a day off
It's so nice to be home on a Friday! I've been getting a few things done today like putting away heaps of clean laundry, uploading pictures and finishing a new dress.
About the Retro Jumper
Tomorrow is Chris' company Christmas dinner and the dress code is business casual. Most of the dresses I have are too dressy or obviously summer. I had been looking for a new dress, but to no avail. Nothing in the stores looked good on me and everything was polyester or dry clean only. YUCK! So I decided to make something instead.
I picked up a Simplicity 1950's Retro pattern a while back that looked perfect. Fabric used is a linen blend.
