I returned safely from my trip to Blacksburg, VA. More details and pictures to come soon. For now I'll share some things I learned...
Perception is fun. On my way there, I felt I was only going 45 when I was usually going 70.
Driving through the mountains of West Virginia during the day is fantastic. So scenic and beautiful. Driving through those same mountains after sunset is not so nice. Very dark with few road reflectors and the creepiness of being very far away from help.
Trying stuff out of my comfort zone is a good exercise regardless the outcome.
