accepted with something pending
Now it's time for me to tell the world...
I accepted a job offer I received from Medmark, the place I've been temping at full time since November. I'm super excited to finally have real employment with real benefits.
Oh and the something that's pending? I asked for a slight increase on the offered hourly wage. I told the HR person that I will take the job either way, but I was hoping for $13. Manager man isn't in the office today so I won't get an answer until Monday.
I almost can't believe I asked, but it doesn't hurt to try right? Even if I don't get it now, I suspect good times next year at my evaluation. I think this will be the first time ever in my employed life I'm looking forward to an evaluation.
Either way... EMPLOYMENT FOR ME!!! *dance of joy*
