Today was my interview at the
Community Design Center of Pittsburgh. I arrived in downtown super early because I didn't know the traffic conditions and I wanted to be able to find parking. I took a really nice walk along Penn Ave just taking in the city. I rarely spend time in downtown, so this morning was a treat. Cool, crisp air in my lungs. Beautiful architecture to see. *happy sigh* I was having such a good time, and eventually I headed to the CDCP's building.
The office is beautiful. I learned that it is a very new space for them and a much bigger place too. Last night they had had a party to celebrate. This place has a full kitchen, tons of huge windows, and fun furniture. Hey look they like to shop at IKEA too. ^^
Eventually it was time for the actual interview, and for the first time in like ever, I was relaxed and totally happy. The first thing that stunned me was that I was the first person being interviewed for this position. I hope that my enthusiasm made a really great impression, and I'm almost hoping everyone after me is all blah. ^^;; I had fun answering the questions and none of them made me shift in my seat and feel icky.
I will receive a call on Tuesday to be called back for the second round or to be turned down. Either way I'll have an update next week.
On a fun note, they called me in because my resume was so diverse. :D
