day of doh!
This morning was my paperwork/interview at Adecco, a staffing agency. I was a total idiot. I went to 2 Parkway Center instead of 2 Gateway Center downtown. I felt so unbelievably stupid. This mistake cost me, gas, extra time, worry about being late and $16 in parking instead of $2.50 round trip bus ride and a pleasant walk. Ah well, at least I still made it to my appointment on time. While I was there the potential opportunity at the Double Tree turned into my first in a long time "you are overqualified" for this position. Ah well...
On my way home I figured taking route 28 around 11:30 would be a breeze. I was wrong. Total traffic back up to the Heinz plant. I actually turned on KDKA to listen for traffic report. The report didn't tell me anything useful. I was hoping for at least a REASON for the back up. No thanks to KDKA. Turns out construction was blocking the left lane just before the 31st Street bridge. So the "fast" way home became the slow way.
I stopped at Kings for lunch because they are having special rewards on Tuesdays. On my way there, again trying to take the fast route, there was traffic collision debris all over the road. *dodges* The food, thankfully was tasty and something on the menu gave me a fantastic idea...
With so many of us having bad arbitrary time periods, I thought it might be fun to get a group together to tackle *dramatic pause* "The Angry Mob" *jarring chord*
The full sized Angry Mob is 6 scoops of vanilla ice cream, 6 scoops of chocolate ice cream, 12 mini frownies topped with hot fudge, whip cream and a cherry.
