pimpin' the con
Fridays are casual days at Medrad where people can wear jeans and even T-shirts. Today I opted to wear my "Does Anyone Speak l33t?" shirt from back in the day when Megatokyo was selling stuff through Think Geek. Anyway, as I was getting my lunch John and Doug, the lunch guys, asked about the shirt. Then we started talking about anime. So not only did I find out Doug is watching the current stuff on Adult Swim including BLEACH, they both liked other quality shows like Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, etc. So what did I do?
I pimped Tekkoshocon. I ran back to my desk and printed out some flyers/reg forms for them. They are both excited. So I hope to see their names on the reg list in the near future.
