The new Legend of the Seeker episode is so crazy. So crazy, in fact, that most of my icons i'm posting today have spoilers. So if you haven't seen the episode and don't want to know what happens, don't click on the cut.

As for where I am with the 3rd frakking book, well, I'm halfway through and I'm seriously starting to wonder if the author just had lots of kinky fantasies and accidentally put them into the book while he was writing. The people being tortured in the first book actually had a point, but in this one it really just reads like some kind of crappy erotic fanfiction crap. Book, please either end soon or have characters I like actually do something noteworthy. Kahlan only just showed up for the first time on page 373. That's how "whatever blah" this book is being so far.
Another thing about the books that the more I think about it should have also been in the show, is the hair length of women signifying their rank. In the show, they never actually say that is the case, and yet they keep eluding to it. After Denee gets out of the prison place, her hair is cut off, and the mord sith cut off Cara's hair at the beginning of the 2nd season when they cast her out and leave her for dead. Those are the 2 biggest examples I can think of, but there are others. If you actually look for it during the show, anyone who is supposed to be a slave or a thief has short hair and anyone who is supposed to be anyone important has long hair. So why didn't they actually use the significance of hair length in the show if they always seem to follow it?
