[it'd taken Sora a little while to putter about, mull it over and finally arrive at his current inquiry: step one, tend to friends. step two, stop by the bakery. step three, harass Riku until he shows him how to speak to someone privately on the journal. step four, another bakery trip.]

[... step five, make inquiry.] Question. How many of you guys ( Read more... )

+voice, this'll end well, sora fights buildings in kh2, not jiminy's journal, hit button make filter, the bakery is his second home

I was part of my kingdom's army. What are your questions?

I'm looking for other people to train with! What kind of fighting do are you best at?

My talent mostly lies with swords, but I can use a few other weapons. I can fight both by myself or as part of a group.

Kind of? I can use axes, staves, bows and daggers. I can also heal myself, if needed.

Whoa... You're kind of a jack of all trades, then?

[A small laugh.]

Hardly. My ability with staves, bows and daggers is minimal, and my magic was weak long before this barrier cut it in half.

That's still way more than I can do! I can... hit things and set them on fire.

Setting targets on fire is a perfectly admirable talent. Did you learn to do so at home, or did you gain that knowledge from the local spirits?

I learned it at home! Merlin taught me.

I can heal, too, but it doesn't really do much here.

Merlin? Is he a tutor of yours?

It's a shame our healing powers are reduced. They cause no trouble to our captors, yet they are restrained to the point of uselessness.

Kinda. He's a really, really old wizard- with the beard and everything- he's the guy I got most of my magic spells from. And-- I guess it's better than not having any magic at all, huh?

A really old wizard with a beard? That sounds like Tellah or Fusoya. And it is, though I suspect I'd be better off with the local spirit magic.

Lemme know how it is if you check it out, okay? There's no such thing as too much healing magic!

I will. If I ever manage to heal more than minor wounds, I'll be certain to tell you.
