Quickly Thanksgiving, fob chinese are racist

Well, Thanksgiving Eve, but WHATEVER. (Lol more CAPS!)
So, I decided since Wed = super late days, I'd try to get two combos (sandwich + donut) and hoping I can get the milk tea in ONE cup instead of two... Well, that failed. So, I had to lug onto the [subway] train two separate cups of HOT [milk] tea (and my food). Well, it IS cheaper than buying sandwich combo + boba.
And, lol, the food counter lady (well, not being gender-neutral here) gave me a candle w/ glass stand... for Tg... She did ask if I was Chinese... so I didn't realize I should've act "Chinese" enough; you know, as in refusing the gift enough... I said (in a roundabout manner) that I was Chinese but my grandparents are from south China, so I hear Cantonese and try to learn "Chinese"... LIES! Well, not really. I don't know how fob (fresh-off[-the]-boat) Chinese will feel about adoptees from Korea. It's already "bad" that my PARENTS are born here and DON'T SPEAK MANDARIN. I did say "xie xie" in my Asian-American accent.

(Woot! First time using my "chinese" lj tags!)

ranting, lj, chinese mandarin, chinese cantonese
