DFO withdrawal?, ranting

Nov 04, 2013 21:55

I think I'm suffering from DFO withdrawal. Or something. I guess the fact that it's GONE is making me want to play it more. Which is funny since I don't play anything else that I should finish (T-rhythm, PxZ, heck even 'Skyward Sword', stuff on DS - that Eefi still has). Well, I'd like to have a separate monitor for my desktop + consoles (an actual COMPUTER screen tyvm).

ranting: NYC transit week from ANGRY COMMUTER (that's me =D)
So, 7 subway train line didn't run between Times Square and Queenboro Plaza last week AND this week during evening rush hour. So, everyone in Manhattan had to take the yellow line (N or Q) to Qbp and wait with everyone already at Qbp for delayed 7. This week was worse than last week: the station platform was overflowing. Literally. I was scared someone might get pushed onto the yellow line's tracks. What boggles the mind is that the MTA wants to EXPAND the 7 line 3 or 4 stops in Manhattan because people want to go to the west side... In case you don't know, the 7 line is the only one that goes to east Queens. It's butt-crowded during rush hour already; expanding the line will make it so much worse. On a normal, "everything's working" day. I cannot imagine the frustration if something doesn't work on the expanded line. I've told Eefi that someone on the executive board is an idiot, or doesn't take the 7 during rush hour.
Also, I hate the [bus1] (bus line changed to protect where I live). It doesn't run as often as it should (because, y'know, if many people take that line, you'd think they'd dispatch more...) (well, they should run more locals). [This is not the bus's fault but] The people who take it activate my stupid sense, which irritates me and boils up my sociopathic side.
