Another November, another NaNo attempt~
XD Why do I do these things to myself? I think, at this stage, I'm not really aiming for the 50k. I'd be thrilled if I just managed to write something each day - which, according to my NaNo profile's nifty little stats page, I've managed to do since I started on Nov 3. I have more hope for this year over past failed attempts, because for once, I'm not writing fanfiction. I'm liking the story I have come up with more and more as it unfolds...which usually doesn't happen for me with original fiction! I've also gained a bit more enthusiasm since my main characters (and a few minor ones) finally sorted out what they wanted to be called, though it worries me I've yet to find a suitable novel title :/ I find it hard to work on nameless writing projects. Huzzah! It's nameless no longer! After days of trying to come up with something suitably profound, I realised that since I've only gotten so far through writing it by lowering my expectations, I should apply the same philosophy to the title. At first I wasn't sure of the title I picked, but now I'm quite satisfied. So, back I go to writing The Calico God!
Anyway, just wanted to post a little something to mark my NaNo-ing efforts. I will now be off, at Shun and Sascha's insistence (well, more Sascha's really, he's a demanding little feline!) to either write about them some more, or work on one of the two assignments I still have to polish off (*sigh*).
