Churning along
Am up to over 10,000 words, but have most parts in, at least as concepts if not fully written out. Suspect will be up to 20,000 words at end if can't cut more. Thought of a way to cut out most of the section I spent two hours on tonight, but that makes me feel better, not worse. Helps to have watched "'Attack of the Clones' deleted scenes with intros" as George Lucas and producers discussed reasons to cut things. Made me feel as if intelligent to cut parts of my story, even though scenes cut from AotC were mostly acting, and they were cut so as to add 20 minute droid factory CG scene. Men.
Also up to penultimate chapter of Bridget Jones' Diary, hence the writing style in this entry.
Hope I have all concepts in story file now and not just in notes file. Still have not written first kiss, coffee shop period, bliss and talking period (but may not need much description), forgiveness, first meeting. Um, is that it? Probably other things I've left out. Must go through paper notes and continue to go through notes file. Oh, and need to get some Dickens from the library in order to work on "dreary Muggle London" descriptions -- probably weakest part of story so far, followed by Hermione's characterization.
