A rare update
Well I guess since I dont write anything most of the time and i skipped out of class early today, I just might put something here. My time lately has been divided between school, work and friends, the first and second perhaps gaining a little more time than the last, which is a pity, because I like friends a bit more than the first two.
Class finishes next thursday. I have one paper, six journal entries, a chapter test and final takehome essay to do by then.
Then I have exams on the 12th, 14th and 17th. I've got no work the 11-14th, and Richard is trying to make it so i dont have to work the 15-17th either, which would be so incredibly cool. Because that would mean I get to go to whistler. Oh, guess there would be time to study for econ too. Maybe.
I still haven't decided if I'm applying to SFU for next semester or not, but i'm increasingly leaning towards the yes side. Except that its not as pretty as UBC, and I guess if i went there i would see Sammy and Jp pretty much.. never. which would suck.
Going to work super full time this summer, which will mean lovely lots of money. I havent decided what two days to ask for off per week yet, so if you coasters no which days (prob not sat or sun, i don't think i could get them) are best to come visit on, then i'll get those off and visit lots!!
Work is ok, its great to have money again, but I don't enjoy it quite as much as I did the video store. Mostly cause you can't get away with being a lazy s.o.b. at the cafe. I think i'm doing ok so far.
The music that has best facinated me this last month or so has been: The Futureheads, Maximo Park, The Shins, The Rapture, Belle & Sebastian, and the Zutons.
Haven't seen many movies, but The Wind that Shakes the Barley was remarkably good, albeit brutally violent, in an 'oh my god this could have happened!' sort of way.
Oh, and I've decided not to drink quite so much. Definately not NOT drinking, just limiting myself more. Too much of a good thing, wot wot?
Off to work. This weekend i have friday and sunday off, at which points i'll be doing all the homework i've saved up for the last minute. And there was much rejoicing. Except not. Anyone want to bet on whether I leave it until monday morning?
