my god.
HUGE fight going on between ppl on my soccer team. HUGE! and it's just between 3 ppl, yet everyone else somehow got involved. and i didn't like that
"i'm not going to mention any names or anything. i'm not picking on anyone in particular, so please don't take this personally. this goes out to anybody on the team, including myself.
i just think if there's conflict between ppl (for reasons inside or outside the game), don't drag the rest of the team into it. it's really nobody else's business and we have no right to be taking sides. it's immature and just plain rude to drag everyone into it. yelling at somebody in front of a crowd is the most childish thing you can do when you have a problem with them. to me, it feels like you're trying to make somebody look bad purposely in front of everyone else. and that's not fair.
if you have to confront somebody about something, please wait until after the game. pull them aside and speak to them face to face, at least. you would benefit from doing that, too, since it's the most productive way to get your message across. yelling and screaming in front of everyone just makes it seem like you have no self-control and in turn that makes YOU look bad, not the one you're yelling at.
please pass on this message to people who aren't on facebook. everyone should read about this and agree with it.
remember: we're not paying like $600 a year to be miserable. this is supposed to be fun. it's a game! we're a team! let's start acting like one, people"
then i started getting phone calls. some ppl thought i was directing it at them. so i had to straighten everything out. and now everything's okay, and everyone still loves me :) (but we're now one player short)
man i'd be a great sports psychologist :P
except i'm going to fail all my exams. because i have work all week and i'm going out wednesday with marc to smoke shisha and then i'm going out thursday to the movies with stu and then i'm going out friday to like 5 places
arrrrrgh *pulls out hair*
