Too many paranthetical remarks to be legal
Man i'm wired right now. Had a good visit with friends this evening and I'm now wishing I were able to sleep. Instead, I'm thinking about the things on my plate that I should have started eating over the summer.
st james evangelism committee (have wholeheartedly dropped the ball on this)
St James repainting the sanctuary (ditto--got some swatches and then quit)
Mercer Canterbury (looking really good. St Paul's Episcopal is looking to help in a major way that could ultimately let me just "help")
trying to build mercer theatre (4 majors. We must grow. I want to keep my job. I don't want to be a part of the faculty that helped kill the program that raised me.)
The class I'm going to teach (I always am afraid that I'm going to bomb)
the theatre season (very good. FInally doing some african american theatre. I've got a great set for it. Good variety of plays. Musical in the backdoor theatre--a 60 seat basement theatre if you haven't been)
Strangely enough, I'm very excited about the year. I've been coasting...daydreaming if you will. I've always had a lot during the year but I haven't done it well. I'm ready for it. We'll see if it's ready for me.
Well, better try and go to bed. Gotta take the dogs to get their teeth done tomorrow. (If you ahve a dog, brush their teeth regularly.)
