For those who care...here is a real update
So, my summer is sort of slow-going right now. I have a full-time job working as a nanny, which goes from 8am to anywhere from 6-9pm. It's wearing me out BIG time but the money is wicked good!
I recently bought a fish tank (finally). I also bought a crab and he is pretty fun to look at. Just so everyone understands: I didn't get a fish tank to "hide" from people. I got a fish tank because I really like marine life and a fish tank to me is comparable to, I don't know, a new car or a new computer or something for another person.
It's still slow in the boy department but I still have Brandon on the back burner while he is away in Colorado. I'll either pick things up with him in August or just stay friends. I am in no position to make that decision now.
I'm still planning on seeing Mitchell on his birthday (July 1). Anyone who is interested (or still interested) is of course, more than welcome to come and ENCOURAGED to join me! I think it's going to be a really fun night.
Since the new year I've noticed that my idea of "fun" has changed a lot and I didn't really realize it until I was around people who hadn't seen me in a long time. I don't like getting all dressed up and going to a club or a bar and drinking a lot. I never really used to in the first place but I didn't mind it. Now, I guess I do. I mean, don't get me wrong, I still LOVE getting dressed up and hanging out with my friends and having a good time but, I like easy-going, very relaxed situations. I'm sorry if this is displeasing to my friends but you'll get used to it. I'm still the fun-loving and spontaneous soph that you all love, I promise. I like adventures but I don't like clubs/bars downtown in any city.
I'm still planning on studying abroad in Dublin in the Spring. I need to start doing some research on that but I'm short on time and patience. I'll get to it soon, I hope.
Next semester is going to be interesting with FOCUS stuff to do. I'm starting to prepare my mind for it. The first week is going to be pretty fuckin' busy! I'll get through it, though, and I'm sure I'll have fun with it, too!
I've really enjoyed hanging out with my family, lately. They are wicked fun to be around and very relaxed. I don't really know how to explain it if you don't like your family, too, but yea, it's cool.
Last week I got coffee with an old friend from high school and it was actually really nice. He called and asked what I was doing and lucky for him, lol, I was actually free! It was fun catching up with one of the few people I actually enjoyed to be around in high school. I hope I see him again, soon.
Alright pals, that about does it for now. I hope everyone else is having a nice summer and I hope I see you all soon. Next Friday (assuming my job doesn't shit on me again) I should be free and would like to do something. Keep in mind, though, that I will be tired from a long day and won't want to go out all night but that doesn't mean I don't want to hang out.
