needless to say, i got a phone call a couple days following the previous incident recorded herein -- "can we still be friends." long story short: he's coming to visit soon. am i weak & pathetic or just weak?
ive been getting letters from various folks. it's been really refreshing and nice to be getting good mail. im glad that there are people out there who enjoy writing to me. i'm on a little crusade to bring back the letter and postcard. sitting down and handwriting something is so different from sitting down and typing or dialing a number. it's a kind of communication that i really hope doesnt ever go "out of style." that would not be a good thing.
