Two days straight of autocross is just too much for me to do. This is particularly true when both autocrosses are an hour and twenty minutes from Madison. So I only made one.

That said - I made a huge paradigm shift in my driving this weekend. I started thinking two turns ahead instead of reacting to the course as I see it. While I always knew this was what I was supposed to do - its one thing to know this, and another to apply it. On my sixth run, I pulled this off, and dropped 3 seconds from my time - this placed me 15th of 29 drivers in my class. Considering the caliber of drivers in the Milwaukee area, I'm quite happy with that.

I also finally printed business cards for my detailing side business - I realized the need for this when i got to the event and had a couple people complementing me on my paint. When I realized they were potential clients, and I didn't have a card... well it looked kinda bad.

I say side business like I have real work for my main job. If only. I'm learning some of the harsh realities of academia...
