W-A-I Event 4
Weather forecast seemed to keep the competition down to the more hardcore drivers - so placing midpack makes me pretty happy.
I also managed to improve a second every run - I'm getting more and more comfortable with the car :). I reminded myself that my car is rear wheel drive - and that I needed to drive it thusly!
Fun runs were also.. uh.. fun :). I got to drive Nate's Dad's focus, and more relevantly, a current (2006+) Miata. Everything that makes my fun, was made even more fun. Faster response, smoother acceleration, better brakes, quicker turn in, more grip, and just as much telepathy behind the drive.
Too bad the car would cost 4x what mine did.
I'd continue to call this a success - as I continuously improve every weekend. As long as I keep getting better, I'll be happy at every event.
