You were a really nice boy. You gave me candy on valentines day and we held hands by the pool that summer before 6th grade. Yeah, that's about it. lol.
My mother saw you yesterday and when she told you who she was you gave a blank stare as if you did not know me. I don't know if it's because of what you are going through or if the tumor just got that bad but I know it's not your fault. Instead, I blame myself for not being closer to you over these past few years and staying in touch more often. Maybe then you would remember me like I remember you.
